I be on twitter! Illusar

Chances are that I'll update more often there. But then again, it's gonna be more random-ness.

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes is actually pretty addicting. One of the better releases for ds imo. It's a kind of turn base puzzle like strategy game. The storyline is cliche as hell with elves, druids, and humans battling against demons. Makes me think of LOTR a bit. Names make me laugh though. 'Godric' :P I'm not good at the 2nd part... humans use def more than elves >.>;

So I finally partook in a part of human life that always eluded me. Well, more of an opportunity arised? Went clubbing for the 1st time last night with Kitty and Catholic schoolgirl and her friends. Pregamed at my house with a bottle of captains. Kitty is... actually not that surprisingly light weight. Catholic schoolgirl put make up on me... first time using mascara. <.<; It's not coming off very well right now. >.>;

We went to V-life and had a couple shots there. Considering I can't don't dance, I tried to make due the best I can. Well awared that I probably looked like a epileptic having a seizure or kinda like the hairography ep in Glee. Now body is sore all over, at least it's not as bad as the time I went snowboarding. All in all, it was pretty fun though Kitty had to save me twice. Random guys grinding up to me. Catholic schoolgirl's friends were... nice? Cute? Such ambiguous words. Er, hmm, I like them.

Btw, Cooking Mama 3 Shop and Chop is... a bit annoying imo. The grocery shopping addition I mean. A bit of frogger to get the ingredients and every time you run into someone, it turns into a mini game or lost a heart. That gets old fast especially if you accidentally run into the same person. You have to do the mini game again. Kinda pointless to make an already short and mindless game for passing time even longer. >.>;

Why can't the world be flat?! Stairs hurt.

It's good to be back! For Thanksgiving Break, I drove up to Canada with some friends. Main reason, to eat. >.>;

Driving was a bit grueling. I was the main driver but switched off with Kitty for a bit. Couldn't really sleep for that duration especially since it makes me nervous when I'm not the one in control of the car... and we borrowed my parents' new car on top of that. Let's say it's new enough that the mileage we used for the road trip was more than they ever drove it. >.>;

We stayed at a hostel in Toronto near Chinatown. All 6 of us in the same room with 3 bunk beds. Taking turns for 1 bathroom wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. At one point we shifted an entire bunk bed over.

One of the guys working there did a double take when he came in our room in the morning. We quickly moved it back after he left hoping he'll think he was imagining things.

Toronto really wasn't all that different from Chicago aside from the money and tram. Oh, and also the fact they use kilometers per hour instead of miles per hour. I went over the speed limit a lot. A cop car drove past us and signaled us to slow down once. It's good that it's all he did 'cause afterwards we saw a sign saying 50k fine for speeding.
Not used to using 1 dollar and 2 dollar coins. Caused Teddy much counting confusion at 1 of the restaurants. Change is too annoying to carry around. The amount of Chinese people though surprises me. Hmm, I should probably look up the ratio.

Food was good but tax be expensive. We mostly spent time around Chinatown. The fruit selection is greater and less expensive, plus outdoors. One of the viet restaurants had the 'laughing cow cheese' symbol as the restaurant logo, which was the main reason we went to try it. Too bad none of us got a picture. Bakery food was really really good and different. Ah~ missing it already.

Traffic hour in Toronto is a real bitch though. The long highways make me think of LA really. We drove over to Pacific Mall to look at the shops and some sort of egg wafer that roughly translates to 'chicken egg son.' >.>; It was good though. Ramune and asian snacks are a lot more expensive here as well... but yet again, wider selection.

Lastly, we checked out the Bata Shoe Museum. It was founded mostly by an avid shoe collector. Now it contains different shoes from famous people and artifacts as well.

Some sorta sledding; Paralympics; Chopines;

More Chopines; Ancient Roman;

Gothic; Islam;

Snow shoes; Doll and Dog shoes;

Cinderella (ideal) shoes from different countries

These are pretty much self explanatory...

All in all, rather interesting and nice trip.

Cafe World

Holy hell, I got suckered into the facebook app Cafe World. Well, a deal is a deal. I'm to play seriously and I got to level 14 in just 2 days. *shuku shuku* Dam, I need a life.

Got back into Audition Sea again since it changed companies. I suck at it now though. Btw, Story mode is really really cheesy.

So, watch Big Bang Theory! It's another American TV series. Basically about these 2 nerdy physicists, their hot neighbor, and their nerdy friends. Lots of physics and general nerd/gaming/comic jokes. I get like 90% of them. >.>; Pretty funny all in all.

On a side note, studying not going well. My practice tests are coming back with more and more wrongs. orz

I spent most of my Halloween in a car. >.>; Dad had a delivery to do to around Memphis so I pretty much tagged along for company and to help unload stuff. It's a 9 hr drive from Chicago and we had to take a van and one of those smaller U-haul like trailers behind. We had to be up at 4:30 am. Was bored enough during the car ride to type up our road trip 'itinerary.' Bear in mind that these pics were taken from a moving van with an iphone...

4:30 am - woke up and started getting ready
5:10 am - finished setting up merchandise and started to head out to Memphis
8:00 am - drifted in and out of sleep since there's nothing but cornfields... 381 miles til destination
8:30 am - had mcdonalds egg cheese and bacon mcmuffin  and filled gas
9:30 am - bored again, but saw much raccoon roadkill, there was a skunk too. how weird.
11:19 am - crossed Missouri state line/bridge

12:18 pm - stopped for gas and chicken teriayki subway. Saw a coon hat.

1:05 pm - crossed into Arkansas... failed sign pic, van too dirty, not to mention dead bug splatters and bird crap  >.>;

2:14 pm - reached Memphis, another bridge marking border

2:32 pm - reached destination on outskirts of Memphis, much warmer here than Chicago (can wear tshirt outside). Customer is a buffet type restaurant owner and the merchandise we sold are purely used as gifts. You go on your bday and get a free gift and a free meal. Apparently, they still make a profit as they have 4 other restaurants.
4:35 pm - finished unloading... Gather bunch of calluses, sore muscles, and at least a layer of dirt. Was treated to a free meal before leaving. More pics of Memphis while leaving. Quite a bit of wetlands along the highway.

6:19 pm - filled more gas and got pistachio and almond ice cream.

9:49 pm - another gas stop in Salem, Illinois though. Back to cold weather... Problem with road trips is not to drink so much liquids and to always take a bathroom break at every gas stop.

11:34 pm - saw this weird lighted dragon float thing on back of moving car. By this time, hands too numb from gripping ds and pen too hard while playing Ouendan... dam hardest mode with cheerleaders.

1:01 am - another gas stop. Barely awake now.
2:11 am - reached home. technically 1:11 am since daylight savings time.
And... that's how my Halloween was. >.>;
